Lake Lowell

Last night we headed out to Lake Lowell, which is only about 20 minutes from our house. We packed a picnic dinner, complete with sandwiches, string cheese, Cheeto's and cupcakes!! Addie loved playing in the water. She wanted to go see the boats and walking out as far as Shaun or I could reach just wasn't close enough but had to do.

Shaun made a fun little, sandcastle with Addie it was a little muddy but still was a castle. They would sit in the water and when waves would come up Shaun would tell Addie to look at the waves to which Addie would then get her hand out and "wave" at the water. We tried to get it on camera but of course she wouldn't do it when she realized we thought it was funny.

I held Rachel and let her kick her toes in the water for awhile. She seemed to like it but is still to young to really splash and play in the water. She just liked to watch.

Play Date

Last week Addie had a fun play date with her cousin. It is actually Shaun's cousin's little girl, Mia, that makes them cousins, right? It took them a little while to warm up to each other but they got along great by the time she had to leave. They played inside for awhile, had a little lunch then they decided the kid pool looked pretty tempting, so they decided to go for a swim. We really love having some family around and the chance to get together.

Rachel is now 2 months old and we caught her cute smile on camera. As you can see she is filling out in her little cheeks and is a happy baby especially after she gets up from her naps.

New Posts

The past week we have done so many fun things. I couldn't leave anything out, so there are quite a few new posts to look at, you'll have to go to the older posts at the bottom of the page. I guess it makes up for not posting for the past month. ENJOY!

Toy Box

Last night we fixed up Addie's Toy Box. We got it a few months ago from my parents and finally got around to painting it and adding a few extras! Addie loves it and loves to point out all the bugs.

Rachel's Blessing

Last Sunday we blessed Rachel. We got to do it in Rexburg with all of our family there. She did wonderful. We are grateful to have her here and part of our family!

Ice Caves

While we were in Rexburg, the boys went 4-wheeling out in the desert and went to some ice caves.

Christmas in July

Shaun's parents have been teaching English in China during the past year. They got home last weekend and it was so great to see them. They did a Christmas/Birthday party for everyone and gave us lots of fun stuff from China.

July 4th

We went to Rexburg to celebrate the 4th of July. It was so much fun to see our family. We went to the Rexburg parade, and had a fun get together at Shaun's brother's house after. Addie loved swimming with her cousins and playing on the tramp.
