Happy Holidays

We had a great Christmas with Shaun's family in Rexburg. We were hoping to play in the snow but couldn't believe there wasn't much to play in. We had so much fun playing games and visiting! We love being with family and our girls love all the attention they get. We miss everyone already. Addie already starting asking when we were going back. The girls and I got to stay a couple extra days which spoiled us, it was hard to come home to reality and everyday life but it's nice to be home and back on Schedule!

Gingerbread Houses

I think it's been about 4 years since we last made gingerbread houses, so we decided we would try it again. It's a little tricky with little ones "helping" but after only one collapse we managed to pull it back together. We invited our friends, the Binghams, over and their cute boys. We had a lot of fun and I'll be the judge and say that they win the contest for best Gingerbread house. Addie's already begging to eat all the candy off of it. I guess she didn't get enough of it while we were making them. I can't wait until the kids get to make them all by themselves but for now it's still fun to help.

18 Months

Our little Missy is already 18 months! She has lots of personality. I'm always amazed how quickly she picks up on things and also how vocal she likes to be, especially when she doesn't like something! She did not like it when it got cold and she had long sleeves on. She pulled on them constantly, she also wasn't too happy about not wearing her jelly sandles anymore. Keeping regular shoes on her is quite the chore.
She's saying more all the time right now her favorite word is "No" but she says it in her cute sweet voice and shakes her head so really I don't mind it. Everything else is "this" , she's always pointing at something.
She Likes
brushing her teeth
drawing
animals
books
dolls
her blankie
Getting her picture taken
giving big hugs
dancing
She doesn't like
Getting out of the tub
Getting her hair done
Her hands sticky or anything on them. (meal time is entertaining)
Getting her hair washed

She keeps us busy and we love her more and more.

Ward Halloween Party

We had our ward Halloween party last night. We had a blast. They combined the past 3 years parties into one big party. First the Chili cook off, the trunk or treat, and a dance. I didn't realize how much my girls liked to dance.

We all dressed up!

Rachel loves cameras, she smiles whenever someone takes her picture. So in the video she doesn't know it's on video and keeps smiling really BIG! She dances a little, too.

Little Ladybug liked to dance on the table, after awhile she just laid down and tried to sleep.

Labor Day Weekend

I guess it's time to catch up on the blog when my husband notices that I haven't updated our blog in awhile :) We had a fun Labor Day weekend. We went on a fun hike with some friends of ours and got to try out our backpack for Rachel.

Shaun thought about jumping off the top but decided to just get in and swim. Addie went with him but was so cold she didn't last long.

I took some pictures of the girls in their cute dresses. Addie had to bring her bunny (Sparkly) that she has had since she was 1 but just started to want to bring it around everywhere.

Shaun's parents came up on Labor Day and we went for a drive to Praire, ID. Where we just bought some property and had fun walking around. We hope to build a cabin up there in the next year or so. It's really pretty up there and it was a fun trip. I had been looking for pine cones, I found my jackpot up there. I'm not sure what I'll do with the 2 bags I brought home but I'm sure I'll think of something!

This is the shelter that is already on the property.

Warren & Rachel's Wedding

Last weekend Shaun's youngest brother, Warren, got married. We love our new sister-in-law, Rachel, and had a great time in Rexburg. All of Shaun's 8 siblings are now married. We had most of them all together at the wedding. It is quite a crew when we are all together. Rachel comes from a family of 8, too.
