My View

I LOVE THE VIEW OUT MY KITCHEN WINDOW!!
Our neighbors have a gorgeous maple tree. The leaves turn this wonderful red color and I just love doing my dishes in the fall just so I can look at the tree.

I LOVE PUMPKIN PATCHES!
Our stake does a community garden and we were able to get a few pumpkins for our family this year. Although we couldn't believe how many goat heads there were. (fyi ...goat heads are an awful weed that grow around here. They have really pokey thorns and the thorns come off and stick to shoes, pop stroller and bike tires and there were so many that the bottom of my shoes were covered. Shaun got the fun job of taking them out of my shoes so I could walk again)

SHAUN LOVES HUNTING!
He got to go up a few weeks ago with a friend. They didn't have any luck finding a deer but still had fun camping.

I'M LEARNING TO LOVE CANNING!
This was my canning for the year. I also did come raspberry freezer jam but didn't take a picture of that.

Fun Weekend

We headed up to Praire for Labor Day weekend. We met Shaun's parents and a couple of brothers up there to do a some projects and soak up the last of summer camping. I love being outdoors...sitting around the campfire, eating smores, stargazing, going on nature walks, walking around in the COLD spring water, relaxing and taking pictures ( since I don't seem to ever be in any of the photos.)
Although nothing starts a vacation out like getting a flat tire !

I'm so grateful I have a great husband to take care of these things!

The girls didn't mind an excuse to get out of their car seats and play in the sand.

Rachel was happy as can be in her cute hat all weekend.

Grandpa just had surgery on his hands and grandma had to rewrap them every morning. Grandpa liked his job of holding the girls while the guys worked.

Uncle Ed found lots of fun bugs, lizards and this frog to show us.

Siding on the back ...done!
Siding on the front ....Done!
We had fun with family and can't wait to go again.
Monday we got to go as a family to see the ultrasound of our baby! I'm due with baby #3 January 20, 2011.

Oh and by the way..........

No More Training Wheels

Check out the video to see our little muchkin riding her bike without training wheels! She's been at it for the past month and when our friends let us borrow a smaller bike she got a little more control and took off.

Addie had a run in with the swings and got her first black eye or as she called it, her purple eye
This was a week after.

Shaun had his 10 year reunion and we got to borrow his parents 15 passenger van. It was made the night so fun.
