Shaun and I made this cake. It's the first time I've really made a decorative cake and it was so much fun. It took some time but was worth every minute.

Addie's 3
I can't believe my baby is 3. She is growing up so fast but I love to see her learn new things and have such a love for life. She wanted princess pajamas for her birthday this year. So when she opened her present and saw that she got them she whispered to herself, "just what I wanted" it was so cute! We had a fun tea party for Addie's birthday today. We had a couple of her friends over to join in the fun.

Cheerios!
Yesterday at lunch time I was making stuff to put in the crock pot for dinner while giving Rachel Cheerios to keep her quiet and Addie was trying to help me cook and play with what ever she could find and then she tried to get Rachel a Cheerio and this is what happened....
She really did a good job of cleaning it all up but had fun making it is little more messy along the way.

Update
I wish I would post more often so that when I do it doesn't have to be so long but I have the time right now to add some photos so I guess this one will just have to be a long one.
Shaun went snowboarding last week and came away mostly unharmed. He just walks a little funny now since his tailbone is bruised.
Shaun added some advertising to his truck.
A few weeks ago we babysat our friends twins for a couple days. They are about 18 months and it was quite on adventure. The little boy liked to sleep on Shaun's chest and the little girl just loved to play with Addie.
Addie is really into dressing up. I think she changes her clothes maybe 4-5 times a day sometimes. At some point in the day she always wants to wear a dress to dance in. At least she can change herself and I just get to be surprised to find out what she'll be wearing next.
Rachel is 8 months old and is as happy as ever.
Shaun made this fun spider web in our living room. Addie loved it but by the end of the day I was so excited to cut it down. I didn't realize how often I'd have to snake through the living room!

For some reason I have a hard time doing Tags, I think it’s fun to read stuff about other people but it takes me forever to just sit down and do it myself . I’ve been tagged a few times and decided I would just post a couple of tags at the same time. So here goes:
Confessions
1. I can’t stand it when my husband scratches the palm of my hand. He does it while we hold hands as a random thing but I just go crazy. I’ve told him I don’t really enjoy it but he must forget because he keeps doing it.
2. I’m really into going Green. I recycle almost everything and feel guilty if I throw something away that could be recycled. I try and conserve energy wherever I can. Just trying to do my part.
3. Popcorn is my favorite treat!! I can’t get enough of it. I love the smell of a freshly popped bag of popcorn. Although I’d rather make popcorn in a popper or on the stove. It is the perfect treat because it can be a sweet or salty.
4. I think glasses make people look smarter and better looking. I always want my husband to wear his glasses, I guess I need to get myself some, so I can be smart and good looking
5. I love to pick scabs and pimples on myself or my family. Maybe it sounds gross but it’s true. I like to and it takes any cut I have way too long to heal because I won’t leave it alone.
6. I make lists all the time, I have to write something down to help me remember things.
7. I love listening to Garth Brooks and whenever I hear one of his songs I’m instantly in a good mood no matter what I’m doing. It just puts an extra bounce to my step.
8. I have a hard time relaxing at my own house. I always feel like there is something else I should be doing I’ve noticed I can relax more at other people’s house but not mine.
9. If it is after 6:30 am and I wake up I can’t usually fall asleep again no matter what time I went to bed. My mind just starts going, thinking of all the things I should be doing instead of sleeping. I love the mornings and would rather do things then.
10. I can’t go to sleep unless my kitchen is clean the toys are picked up and my dishes are done.
11. I love to clean. I didn’t when I was younger I’m sure my mother wondered what kind of home I would have since my bedroom floor could hardly be seen but now that I have my own home, I’m constantly cleaning and love to make things shine.
12. I don’t have much of an opinion about anything. I’ll usually agree with what anyone says. Nothing really gets me riled up.
13. I have a high pain tolerance and like to push myself to the limit. I guess that is why I’ve run 2 marathons and gave birth to my daughters naturally.
14. I’m more comfortable in running shoes than other shoes. Well I do love flip flops in the summer. But I don’t do high heels, I have one pair and they were my first and probably my last.
15. I wish I could take piano lessons again. I want the excuse to practice and be able to sit down and sight read most anything in front of me.
16. I communicate much better through writing than in person.
17. I have a terrible long term memory. I don’t remember details about things.
18. I want to learn to be a great gardener and know all about how to take care of flowers and my yard. One day I’ll have a green thumb. I have a long way to go since I kill most of my house plants.
19. I love to look at pictures. I could look through the pictures we have of our girls over and over again. Pictures are full of memories.
