Shaun turned 26 yesterday!! He thought he was 26 for the past year so he won't have to lie about it anymore! We kept up with the Powell tradition of cake and ice cream and HOT DOGS for breakfast. I'm not sure why that combination ever started but Shaun still doesn't feel like it is his birthday if he doesn't start out the day that way. He had just gotten a bloody nose when we were singing Happy Birthday so in the video that explains the tissue hanging from his nose.
We had some friends over to help celebrate last night. We had dinner and an Ice Cream Cake that Shaun wanted. We still have a lot of the German Ch. Cake that I made, too! Lots of leftover cake is the best part of a birthday right?! Shaun appreciated all the phone calls and cards from family and friends. He said he had a great day!! I love him and I'm so glad that I get to celebrate his life with him!

Happy Birthday Shaun! Sorry we didn't send you a card or anything but I honestly didn't know when your birthday was! I get the cake and ice cream but hot dogs? I've never heard of that one! Hey we will be in Boise toward the end of June I say we because we will all fly up there together but Quinn will spend most of that week in Alaska so maybe if nothing else Carson and I can come visit you guys because I really don't know what I will be doing all week. I'm not completely sure of the date but I know its around the 18th to the 24th or something. I'll let you know for sure later. Anyways its good to get an update! How are you doing these days Kelli? We find out in two weeks what we are having! YAY!!
