Trying out our new tent

We went camping for the first time this year. It was the first time we had brought Rachel camping, too. Shaun has Friday's off and doesn't have to be to work until later on Saturday so it works out great for a overnight camping trip. We decided to go later in the afternoon and packed up and just started to drive with no destinations in mind. I guess that tells you a little about how spontaneous we can be. We found a fun camp ground not too far from home after we made some phone calls along the way, and realized we weren't going to find a camp ground on our own. It wasn't exactly what we imagined because we expected to see some trees but rocks and over grown sage brush are fun, too. We were camped along a river so we did enjoy that. Rachel loved all the rocks and was content the whole time. Addie was a great helper with her dad, getting fire wood aka dead sage brush, she also loved to climb on the rocks she didn't really like going potty behind the rocks but still did it.
It was a way fun camp out and we can't wait to go again.

Saturday after we got home I brought the girls to the Nampa Parade of America. We went with our friends and it was so much fun. I think Addie got more candy at the parade than she got at Halloween.
