This weekend we got to get out of town for a couple nights with our friends. They have a family cabin in McCall and it was so much fun to be in the mountains and play in the snow. McCall was having their winter festival so we got to see the fun snow sculptures and go to the parades.
The cabin in on Cascade lake and this is the back yard that over looks the frozen lake. It is so beautiful and peaceful up there. There were lots of snowmobilers on the lake, we got to go sledding onto the lake.

Friday was a fun Children's Light parade, although we realized a little too late that the kids were supposed to be in the parade and not just watch the parade.
This was a fun dragon in the parade.
We sat here waiting for the parade for awhile until we decided to go find the parade.
This sculpture won 1st prize. The sculptures are pretty impressive.

What a fun weekend!! Those sculptures are amazing aren't they. Our families definitely need to get together and go play in the snow before it is gone:)
